How long would it take to reach these , if we travel in the speed of light
Moon : one second
Light travels through the space at just over 186,000 miles per second. The moon is just under 2,50,000 miles from earth.so it would take more than one second (about 1.3 seconds)to reach moon
Sun : 8 minutes and 20 seconds
The Sun is at an average distance of about 93,000,000 miles away from the earth. So it would take 8minutes and 20 seconds to reach sun .
Mercury : 4.3 minutes
It will take only 4.3 minutes to reach mercury if we travel in the speed of light , when they are at their closest point ( 48,000,000 miles away).
Venus : 2 minutes 13 seconds
Mars : 3.03 minutes
light travels at approximately 186,000 miles per second .therefore it would take the following amount of time to reach Mars :

light travels at approximately 186,000 miles per second .therefore it would take the following amount of time to reach Mars :
- closest possible approach : 182 seconds or 3.03 minutes
- Farthest approach : 1342 seconds or 22.4 seconds
- on average : 751 seconds or 12.5 minutes
since the earth and jupiter are both revolving around the sun, the distance between them is always changing. The average distance between earth and the jupiter is 483 million miles .If you could travel at the speed of light ,it would take you only 43 minutes to get jupiter.
spacecraft travelling at light speed from Earth can get out of the milky way only after 20000 Light years of time for the person observing from earth.
To move out of our Universe :
You can't move away out of universe even if you'll travel at the speed of light as it'll keep on expanding even further.
How close have we gotten to the speed of light ?
- manned spacecraft APOLLO over 11km/s or close to 0.004% of the speed of light
- unmanned spacecraft NEW HORIZONS over 16.3km/s or about 0.0054% of the speed of light.

Will it ever be possible to travel at the speed of light ?
As an object approaches the speed of light , its mass rises precipitously . If an object tries to travel 186,000 miles per second , its mass becomes infinite , and so does the energy required to move it .For this reason , No normal object can travel as fast or faster than the speed of light.
